Stéphanie et David Allemand photographes'

Exhibition Mer’veilles nature

Friday, May 23, 2025 Sunday, May 25, 2025

We will be present at the Mer’veilles Nature Festival from May 23 to 25, 2025.

“To capture fleeting perfections, to capture the elusive, like a call to love in order to better protect our nature and get closer to what is essential”—this is what Stéphanie and David Allemand have sought to convey through their images for nearly twenty years.
This professional photographer couple shares their passion for photography and nature in the reports they regularly publish in the French and international press.

“Chemins du Nord”—Twenty years of wandering and exploring northern lands to capture the fleeting perfections of fragile nature and capture the elusive—this is what David and Stéphanie Allemand present to us in their latest book and exhibition, “Chemins du Nord.”

From Scandinavia to the far reaches of the Arctic, the photographers have traveled the lands of Iceland and Greenland, discovering at every turn a diverse and contrasting boreal universe where taiga gives way to tundra, volcanoes to ice.

“The town of MER is at the heart of the Loire Valley, blessed with numerous tourist attractions.

The Loire has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. The castles, churches, mills, the Chambord national forest, the numerous rivers, the Domino lake, the Loire à Vélo circuit, canoe trips and boat trips (with the sailors from the port of Chambord) are, among other things, the attractions of our town’s location.”
