Salamandre n° 280

“Wow.” A cry in the night? This is the legendary Eagle owl. Despite its eagle-like wingspan, its impressive claws and its unerring eyes, the largest owl in the world almost disappeared from our region. Today, it is doing well and its recovery sometimes brings it very close to us in very varied territories. It is possible to hear it – and even see it for the luckiest – from the gentle hills of Alsace, to the sides of the cliffs of the Var, throughout Switzerland and even into the Walloon forests. One of our images comes complete this file in number 280.
