In Perros-Guirec, their Northern Paths are exhibited on the forecourt of the church:
For twenty years, David and Stéphanie Allemand have traveled the lands of Iceland, Greenland, and Scandinavia to immortalize the fragile and ephemeral beauty of the boreal world. From the taiga to the tundra, from volcanoes to the ice floes, their images reveal a universe both grandiose and delicate, where nature, in all its splendor, imposes silence and contemplation.
The exhibition of twenty of their photographs adorns the square in front of Saint-Jacques Church and Pierre Geffroy Square. An invitation to travel but also to the preservation of ecosystems. “We are very happy to have been invited. We work as a couple; we are both photographers, but for “Chemins du nord,” Stéphanie handled the editorial side,” explains David Allemand. A screening followed the inauguration of the exhibition and those who wish can continue the visual pleasure with the book “Chemins du Nord”, a true ode to boreal landscapes, which invites you to take a break from time, between wonder and reflection.
